Projects For 2026

Hope for the Widows Project – 2026

Rise and Shine Humanitarian Ministries Uganda (RSHMU) is committed to improving the living conditions of vulnerable individuals in our communities. In the year 2026, the organization plans to construct permanent, well-conditioned houses for the following beneficiaries: Patience Amutuhere, Kabugho Joyce, Nzyabake Georgina, and a widower, Bwambale David.

We are pleased to report that construction of some of these houses has already commenced. However, there are still many widows and other vulnerable individuals in urgent need of support to help them rise above poverty and improve their quality of life.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our current sponsors and well-wishers—especially those from Rhode Island, USA—for their continued generosity and unwavering support toward our initiatives. Your contributions have made a meaningful difference in many lives.

As we move forward, we humbly appeal for continued and increased support for this noble cause. At the same time, we are actively seeking to expand our sponsorship base beyond the United States to include partners from Europe and other parts of the world. Our core mission remains to uplift vulnerable communities across Uganda and, ultimately, Africa at large.

Through your support, we can bring hope, dignity, and lasting change to those living in difficult conditions. We are committed to ensuring that all resources are utilized with the highest level of transparency and accountability.

May Almighty God bless you abundantly for your kindness and generosity.

Pastoral & Community Outreach Support

Effective outreach requires reliable mobility and strong communication tools. Rise and Shine Humanitarian Ministries Uganda (RSHMU) conducts pastoral and humanitarian work across remote villages through regular visits, emergency response efforts, and ongoing project supervision.

To strengthen this outreach, RSHMU seeks support in two key areas:

Fuel Support: Reliable transportation is essential for reaching underserved communities. Fuel support directly translates into more lives reached, timely care delivered, and stronger community impact.

Public Address System: To improve communication and engagement during community meetings, trainings, and outreach programs, RSHMU plans to acquire a public address system.

This investment will significantly enhance education, awareness, and coordination during large community gatherings, ensuring that vital information effectively reaches all participants.

Through these efforts, RSHMU aims to deepen its impact, strengthen community relationships, and better serve vulnerable populations.

Education Support for Orphans and the Needy – 2026

Education remains at the heart of the mission of Rise and Shine Humanitarian Ministries Uganda (RSHMU) in breaking the cycle of poverty among vulnerable communities. In 2026, RSHMU is proudly supporting 113 orphaned and underprivileged children across different levels of education:

4 University students
13 Secondary school students
96 Primary school pupils

Through this initiative, we aim to provide these children with access to quality education, stability, and hope for a brighter future.

Your continued support plays a vital role in ensuring that these vulnerable children remain in school, are protected from exploitation, and are empowered with the knowledge and skills needed to transform their lives and communities.

Together, we can build a future where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

Community School Project

Rise and Shine Humanitarian Ministries Uganda (RSHMU) has secured two acres of land strategically located near a main road, designated for a transformative community development initiative:

A Community School

This project is designed to address the pressing needs of communities with a high number of orphans, widows, and other vulnerable individuals by improving access to quality education.

We warmly invite strategic partners, donors, and development organizations with an interest in education infrastructure to collaborate with us in bringing this life-changing initiative to reality.

By investing in this project:

* Children, especially orphans, will gain access to quality education, positioning them to compete favorably in an increasingly competitive job market.
* Learners will develop not only academic knowledge but also practical and soft skills essential for future success.
* Communities will experience long-term social and economic transformation through improved literacy and empowerment.

This initiative reflects a broader vision of empowering communities, reducing vulnerability, and creating sustainable pathways out of poverty.
